Wow Lenny..nice to see you and nice to see you got the forum back up.

Now rests the job, like MZ said, to deside about wich forum to use..and who will lead things, etc.

My idea would probably be to put the discussion on the new server as it's probably more populated. Is say probably because this is my first post here (since it went down) and have now idea if people are comming here.

I'd be a sensible move, we can trust lenny obviously, and this forum i believe si way more secure then the free forums one. It was a great replacement/holder forum but, its only snesible we go back to our roots when acid is about to restart...

Awesome.  Alive again.  Ok, we need some people who don't have a RL to take the reins.   I am completely swamped in RL right now and fall sports season starts next week to add to the mayhem.  I will move the game stuff to a remote accessible server this week. This will allow someone else to work on it and do the admin stuff since I am not available much right now.  I know MZ and Xeon are capable but not available right now.  Anyone want to learn... lol.  If you have no hands on programming knowledge please don't bother asking..... 
You must be trustworthy and pass muster with MZ. 

And I vote we throw out the old levels and start over.  Or at least have an automatic demotion if you don't stop in often enough.  No sense having high level people who aren't available to do the job.

i agree with your two bits and would love to work with server but alas ama programming newb =/ mabey next time acid has a diaster and needs a new server i will better off lol =]

Actually I only came back because I was cleaning out my unused Favorites on my laptop and clicked this link before I deleted it. Then I had to comment on L3nnY's post.

My opinion on ET still stand from where it did two years ago. I am done. I play COD4 on my Xbox 360 very happily and that is all that I need right now. As a matter of fact, between work and family, I just don't have the time anymore to play that many games.

I don't even have a PC to play games on anymore. I gave my kids my PC to use and I only kept my laptop for personal stuff. Sure I could use their PC to play ET, but then it comes back to the time.

The only time that I have anymore for games is solely for COD4. I am in a clan for that on GameBattles.com, and enjoy it very much. I know there are plenty of you who cannot understand how a console can be as good, but for me personally it is.

But keep up the good work and bring back those servers... you never know if I might pop back in someday. I mean, you never know. My Xbox 360 could die tomorrow. Then what would I do?
